Australians for Affordable Housing has released a 4-point action plan aimed at reducing the housing stress experienced by thousands of Australians.

COTA is a member of this alliance and sees the plan as an important step in keeping older Australians out of poverty and free from disadvantage.

 In a media release, COTA CEO Ian Yates, said the number of older people in housing stress was increasing rapidly and they would benefit significantly from this 4-point plan.

The plan was released ahead of a meeting of the COAG Select Committee on Housing and Homelessness in Perth on 1 September.
