The ASN is structured in terms of general membership and the ASN Committee. The ASN also has a funded Executive Officer whose role is it is to work with the membership and the ASN committee. All aged serviced providers and agencies in the Western metropolitan region are eligible to be part of the ASN (general members). The ASN Committee is made up of representatives from the major sectors of aged services. A sector is grouping of like service provider organisations across a region. The sector positions currently on ASN Committee are: Intensive Care Brokerage Programs, Ethnic Services, Local Government, Community Nursing, Palliative Care, Disability, Assessment Services, Community Health, Divisions of General Practice, Western Health Care Network, Residential Care Services and Carers.
