Home and Community Care (HACC) Regional Training Coordination

The overall aim of HACC Training Coordination Program is to identify and meet the learning and training needs of staff and volunteers working for HACC funded services. The coordination of training is funded by the Department of Human Services through the HACC program.

COTA Victoria is the auspice for the HACC Regional Training Coordination for the Western Sector of the North and West Metropolitan RegionCOTA Victoria is the auspice for the HACC Regional Training Coordination for the Western Sector of the North and West Metropolitan Region.

The HACC Regional Coordinator role uses a developmental approach to enhance the HACC service system’s capacity to:

  • identify training and learning needs

  • access training/ learning opportunities and

  • facilitate the development of a positive learning environment across the Western Sector of the North and West Metropolitan Region.

The Training Coordinator works closely with the Western HACC Training Advisory Committee to achieve these aims.
