Information sessions
In 2010 the Need to Know information series will again address issues of interest and concern to older people.
These free information sessions are held from
10.30 am to 12.00 noon,
generally in the COTA Meeting Room, Level 4, Block Arcade, 98 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.

Public Transport: with a speaker from the Public Transport Ombudsman (PTO) service to discuss how the PTO handles complaints about public transport, and a representative from the Transport Ticketing Authority, which is responsible for myki.

Scams: following on from National Fraud Week earlier in March, Consumer Affairs Victoria will present information on confidently dealing with door to door & telephone sales & what to do if dissatisfied with the product or work undertaken.
