Seniors Information Victoria has produced a series of information sheets in response to frequently asked questions. These cover government-subsidised support in the home as well as various accommodation options. For information on home-based support, there are the subsidised programs, Community Aged Care Packages and Home and Community Care. Considering moving? There are information sheets on the independent living options Resident-Funded Retirement Villages and Independent Living Units. For assisted living, the information sheets range from Supported Residential Services and Abbeyfield Housing to low-level (hostel) and high-level (nursing home) residential care.
