This Project was coordinated by the Council on the Ageing and undertook to assist ten small organisations to become family - friendly, by raising awareness of better work and family inititives in the workplace, conducting needs assessments with employees, and developing work and family balance policies with each participating organisation.
COTA Victoria's participation ensured that a broad focus was brought to the conversation on Work Family Balance - workplaces need to accommodate the needs of all carers across the life spectrum, not just those with young children.
The Project was funded by a Better Work and Family Balance Grant provided by Industrial Relations Victoria, the Department of Innovation, Industry and Redgional Development.
