About this Event
In 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically affected the lives of all Victorians, with older people identified as one of the groups most at risk.
Victorians have arguably experienced some of the longest and most stringent lock-down measures across the globe in an effort to contain COVID-19.
Irrespective of the goal, older Victorians at this stage have experienced a greater impact from COVID-19 than other demographics of the population in this state, with the majority of more than 800 Victorian deaths being people aged 70+ years.
Not that this is a competition of the ages, or is it?
Please join COTA in conversation about ageism in the context of the pandemic.
