Mentors will be able to utilise their professional skills and lived experience, and to ‘Age Well’ by being able to find purpose and meaning, be connected to society and assist others. (Ageing Well In A Changing World, A Report by the Commissioner for Senior Victorians 2020). We will provide professional development training for the mentors to support them in understanding what mentorship is and how they can support jobseekers on their vocational and employment pathway.
The project will be operating in the Western Suburbs, including Brimbank and Melton. The program training and matching will be between February – June 2022. Registrations will open from the 1st of october 2021.
