      Hi Sandra,
Thank you for your question asking if you can use your Victorian Seniors card in in NSW.
All states and territories in Australia accept interstate Seniors Cards for concession travel. Most interstate businesses also accept the Victorian Seniors Card. To find out the benefits offered to Victorian Senior Card holders, you can contact the NSW Seniors Card program through:
Service NSW on 137788 and ask to speak to the Seniors Card area. https://www.seniorscard.nsw.gov.au/
This information has been sourced from the Seniors Online Victoria website under their Seniors Card Frequently Asked Questions page https://www.seniorsonline.vic.gov.au/

      Have a nice day!

Hi, I will be 65 next month and would like to retain a GP to assist me with my journey to being old graciously. Currently I see any GP at this medical centre, I constantly need to remind them about my conditions before being prescribed any medication. I am concerned about my existing medical conditions and I feel the need to see a GP long term basis. I am currently seeing 2x specialists, a Rheumatologist and a Cardiologist on an annual basis. Where can I access a list of GP’s for older adults? Thank you for your kind assistance.

    Hello
I have a NSW Senior card. Recently I moved to live in Victoria permanently. Do I have to replace my NSW card by VIC card or I can use the current card for all purposes the card allow?
    Thanks

    Hi, Rebecca,
We are a married self funded retiree couple with a combined income under the new tax rebate entitlements in July (If passed ). We have the Seniors card only. Is there anyway we are entitled to a concession on our gas and or electricity?

      Hi Des,

You are not automatically entitled to a concession based on the information you have provided. We can recommend that you have a look at the Energy Compare program and undertake the exercise on the website to check options for a lower plan for your gas and electricity services. The link to the site is here and it is a fairly simple exercise to undertake: https://compare.energy.vic.gov.au/ If you would like further information about that program or if you need assistance to complete the exercise, please contact us on 9655 2100 during office hours.
