The draft Residential Tenancies Regulations achieves a number of improvements in the safety, affordability and rights of tenants. COTA Victoria is concerned over the limited scope of minimum standards, the lack of energy efficiency standards and the conditions set for modifications.
The Victorian Retirement Villages Act (RVA), 1986, is under Review. COTA Victoria believes the RVA is no longer fit for purpose and requires an overhaul to meet the future needs and expectation of ageing Victorians.
