As Secretary, I hereby give notice of the Annual General Meeting of Council on the Ageing Victoria Inc. (COTA Victoria). The Annual General Meeting shall be conducted in accordance with the Constitution of our Association. 

Business to be conducted: 

  1. Confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
  2. To receive and consider: –
  3. The Annual Report of the activities of the Association during the preceding Financial Year; and
  4. The financial statements of the Association for the preceding Financial Year.
  5. To declare the results of the elections for members of the Board.

III. To appoint the Association’s Auditor. 

  1. To conduct any other business of which notice has been given in accordance with the Constitution of the Association.

Any member who has any other general business to be transacted at the Annual General Meeting must provide written notice and details of the business to the Secretary no later than 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.  

Note: Proxies cannot be appointed to represent members at a General Meeting.
