Claim the new round of the $250 Power Saving Bonus for all Victorian households

The Victorian Government has announced a new round of its $250 Power Saving Bonus.

This second round of a $250 payment is designed to help ease cost of living pressures for Victorian households and encourage them to compare energy offers and save money. The second round of the Power Saving Bonus is available to all Victorian households – no concession card needed!

Applications for the first round of the Power Saving Bonus close at 11.59 pm AEDT on 23 March. Applications for the second round will open from 12.01 am AEDT on 24 March and will remain until 31 August 2023.

To claim the bonus — a once-off payment per round — visit the Victorian Energy Compare website or use an energy affordability service from a participating community partner. You will need a recent electricity bill that names you as an account holder. The $250 payment is made directly into your nominated bank account and can be used however you wish. The Bonus is limited to one payment for each eligible household.
