Community eye health webinar presented by The Vision Initiative

The Vision Initiative is the Victorian Government’s public health response to the National Framework for Action to Promote Eye Health and Prevent Avoidable Blindness and Vision Loss.

The Vision Initiative aims to prevent avoidable blindness and reduce the impact of vision loss for communities across Victoria.

The Vision Initiative is managed by Vision 2020 Australia, the national peak body for eye health and vision care in Australia.

On Wednesday 24 March, COTA Victoria will be hosting a special online presentation from The Vision Initiative about eye health. The presentation will explore what we can do to protect our eyesight and cover:

  • eye anatomy
  • common eye conditions
  • low-cost eye testing
  • vision support services.

Time will be set aside for questions and resources can be emailed to you after the session.

We are just finalising arrangements for the session. If you would like to register to attend, please email askcota@cotavic.org.au and we will send you a link when the registration goes live.

If you have any questions about the session, please call 1300 13 50 90 and speak to Carolyn or Nicky.
