Policy Position on digital inclusion and access to information

Older Victorians continue to experience high rates of digital exclusion. This places them at increased risk of becoming marginalised and disempowered as more and more services move online. It is critical that all Victorians can access the information and services they need in this ever-changing world. As such, this position statement sets out our expectations of Government in ensuring:

• All older Victorians, including those who are not digitally connected, have simplified and timely access to the information and services they need.
• All older Victorians are provided with opportunities to gain the maximum benefit from digital technology if they wish to do so.
