Seniors Card Travel Vouchers

The Victorian Seniors Card is administered by our Victorian State Government. It allows free public transport travel for card holders. There are changes coming to the way this system works. This is what you need to know:

  • New Seniors Card holders must register with Public Transport Victoria to receive free travel vouchers
  • Existing Seniors Card holders must also register with Public Transport Victoria to receive vouchers in 2020
  • By the end of this year, no vouchers will be sent automatically
  • To receive vouchers in 2020, people must register by 31 July 2020
  • If you register after 31 July 2020, you will only receive vouchers for 2021
  • Vouchers will include two off-peak travel vouchers for metropolitan Melbourne and four for people in regional Victoria

There are three ways to register:

  • Register on Public Transport Victoria’s website
  • Pick up a registration form from any staffed train station or Public Transport Victoria hub and post it back for processing
  • Register in person with your ID and eligibility card at a Public Transport Victoria hub, including:
    • Southern Cross Station, 750 Collins Street Docklands
    • Westfield Shopping Centre, 95 Malop Street, Geelong
    • Bendigo Marketplace, 37 Garsed Street, Bendigo
