Stay Socially Connected: 20 things to keep you and your loved ones happy while self isolating and beyond

There is not one person in Australia who has not been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic safety measures that have brought everyone to a point where we can no longer engage in activities that made up our daily routines.

The Council on the Ageing (COTA) Victoria is excited to bring you a valuable new resource – a free online eBook (PDF, 3.1 MB) ‘Stay Socially Connected: 20 things to keep you and your loved ones happy while self isolating and beyond’.

Tina Hogarth-Clarke, CEO of COTA Victoria said the innovative eBook, created by Melbourne publicist Ron Smith, provides twenty good ideas for people that can be used by anyone undertaking self-isolation.

“Stay Socially Connected should be seen as an important part of the COVID-19 self-isolating strategy, with small things such as making regular phone calls or a FaceTime session with friends and relatives being vital in breaking down the barriers of loneliness during this period,” Ron Smith said.

“This is especially important for older members of the community who live on their own,” he added.
