The rate of Newstart is woefully inadequate, which is a big issue for older workers. COTA Australia, Benevolent Society and National Seniors recently joined forces to call for Raising the Rate of Newstart.
This National Volunteer Week, Seniors Rights Victoria is celebrating the enormous impact of its volunteer speakers, who helped deliver 93 education sessions to some 3,121 participants across Victoria this year.
