Mental health and wellbeing reform: unravelling the mystery

The Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System recommended changes aimed at creating a future mental health and wellbeing system that provides holistic treatment, care and support for all Victorians.

But what does this mean for Victorians aged 50+ who use mental health services and support programs, or who care for someone with mental health challenges?

COTA Victoria invites you to a special one-day forum to explore the recommendations driving the reforms and to learn more about the services and programs that will be available as the reforms are implemented. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • hear from service system experts, consumers and carers
  • explore the issues with other people from your local community
  • learn about local services and supports available right now.

The face-to-face forums will be held in Morwell and Bendigo – find details on the COTA Victoria events page. If you can’t make it on the day, recordings of the keynote presentations will be made available on our website in July.
